Handy Tips

• Many household detergents actually strip polish from paintwork, leaving the surface dull and unprotected. Some contain salt which may induce corrosion.
• Before shampooing, if possible, hose down vehicle to loosen and remove excess grime.
• Use a soft automotive sponge. If you drop your sponge ensure it does not contain grit which will otherwise scratch the paintwork.
• Work from the top of the vehicle downwards, completing one side at a time and leaving the wheels until last.
• If possible, finally flood rinse the whole vehicle with a gently running hose. Residual water can be removed using an Autoglym Aqua-Dry synthetic leather.
